Vidya Institute of Training and Education was established and promoted by a very respectable educationalist, philanthropist, social worker and honorable teacher Sh. Harish Chandra Sharma, in the memory of his late wife Smt. Vidya Sharma who was a lady of great courage, conviction, hard working and helping. Pure thought, help and support to poor and selfless services rendered by Sh. Sharma established him above rest of the society and provided him a special status in teaching community. Smt. Neeru Sharma, a very dynamic, positive, kind hearted, decisive and progressive educationist, is director of VITE. She is giving proper pace and direction to VITE.
VITE is promoted by voluntary organization namely Vasundhra Vikas Samiti, Faridpur (Bareilly), which is committed for social, educational, cultural and economic development of society. Same management is also running an Industrial Training Institute (I.T.I.) namely Vidya Industrial Training Institute in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, COPA and Cutting & Tailoring.

Shri N.K. Singh, aged 65, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and serves as the Chairman of Vidya Institute of Training and Education. With extensive experience in education and administration, he provides strategic leadership to the institution, ensuring its growth and adherence to academic excellence. His guidance is instrumental in shaping the institute's vision and fostering an environment conducive to learning and development.

Smt. Neeru Sharma, aged 40, holds a Master of Arts degree and serves as the Secretary of Vidya Institute of Training and Education. As an accomplished educationist, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Her leadership is pivotal in shaping the institute’s educational strategies and ensuring the implementation of effective teaching methodologies. Smt. Sharma’s dedication to academic excellence and her proactive approach contribute significantly to the institution’s mission of providing quality education.

Today’s environment is more competitive, requires overall development of personality with social and cultural development. For job opportunities need of vocational training is being felt badly. Today’s educational environment is characterized by powerful forces of change-far reaching & continuing development in education, increasing integration of world’s economies, intense competition with a continuing stream of new players & incumbents fighting to protect their territories, a flurry of new products & services in industry and major social changes all over the world. To meet all these challenges new experiments are also need to be done in education and overall personality development of students to face a new challenging world.
